Our Experience
At Kolt Equestrian, I bring decades of experience in teaching riders and training horses across various disciplines, including dressage, hunter, and western. I spent seven years showing in the hunter and jumper divisions across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York, followed by twelve years coaching and showing dressage and hunter in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. Additionally, I trained and showed western pleasure for four years in southern Virginia. As a degreed mechanical engineer, I bring a fundamental understanding of mechanics to my horsemanship perspective, while prioritizing the well-being and development of both riders and horses. Additionally, I have 20 years’ experience in horse breeding, caring for mares and foals, and starting young horses in training, ensuring that each animal receives the utmost care and expertise.
